Honestly leaving a chasidus to join a total different one isn't really taken as a revolt, splitting off is, but even that should be tolerated. If 40% of the people aren't happy with you then you were doing something wrong and they should be able to choose an alternative instead, whether it is your nephew, cousin or brother. People aren't an asset you inherited from anyone.
