It is absolutely relevant. If they knew the policy when they sent there it is a decision that they made and they waived their rights. This kind of stuff happens all the time. People push into a school while they are unwilling to keep to the rules they knew about before and then "stick up for their rights" not to keep to the rules. I would imagine that anyone enrolling in a school that is very explicitly under the guidance of a Rebbe knows that if there is a breakoff from the Rebbe the school will remain under the Rebbe and expect those breaking off to leave the school as well.

The people that went are questioning the ownership f the school too. The Rebbe didn't build the school the parents did. They'll gladly take the brand off the school and keep their kids there.
