That question is useless unless a witness says that is what happened.

Good thing there was a witness (on the first day?) that said that Rosenbaum was leaning forward and lunging for Rittenhouse's gun.

I use to be fast when I was younger but 4/sec just ain't happening.  :)
I think it was less than a second, but I didn't remember the fraction. It's possible they were referring to the intervals between shots, which would definitely make more sense.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

I remember reading that it was 4 shots in .76 seconds. The timing is from the sound on the video, so its precise.

ETA: it was in this article -

Lunging is not diving. Diving was said to get you to think that is why he was shot in the back.

Regardless the shot in the back wasn't of significance given its reasoning.

Optics. Someone claiming self-defense doesn't shoot someone in the back.

We were already warned about watching snippets. I guess you didn't get the memo.
Kraus: So we never asked you to put anything in about or change anything about Kyle Rittenhouse?

DeBruin: Not specifically, no.

Kraus: Because Kyle Rittenhouse, that name doesn’t even appear in your statement, does it?

DeBruin: I don’t think so. Not to my knowledge.

Kraus: And so, the discussion about changing statements, did we actually ask you to retype your statement out?

DeBruin: No.

Kraus: So what do you mean we asked you to change it?

DeBruin: I’m assuming, there wasn’t details, but I’m assuming either add Kyle’s name or — because I was also shown a video off of a cell phone by Mr. Binger. I don’t know what video, or whose video that was, but it was of the shooting, and that’s when I was asked if I wanted to add anything else to that statement. And I said no.

Kraus: And you took that literally, like, actually writing out your statement?

DeBruin: Yeah.

Kraus: You did not take that to mean, ‘Is there anything your statement doesn’t cover or that we should know?’

DeBruin: No.

Kraus: You [unintelligible] literally we would retype the statement that you took November 11?

DeBruin: Well, he didn’t say retype it, but he said, ‘Do I want to add anything to how I interpret that?’ And that’s pretty much altering my statement, and I felt uneasy about that.

Why would somebody chase someone down that has a gun?

I actually went and watched this segment, including the bits before and after, and the full video makes the prosecution come off even worse than the short clip does, IMHO. The prosecutors behaved in a really dishonest, sleazy way, which even if it's normal, if I was on the jury, I'd be pissed at them.

If you're referring to me, I served on jury for a self defense/murder case (until I got DQed), so I dare say I've been "out there" enough to have a say about how a prosecutor would appear to a jury.

That is fine. I am talking about these clips. "Suborn perjury" that is laughable.
The other clip claims he ask the person to change his testimony. Then in the part we didn't see he says "technically no".

Does the prosecution use tactics some don't like, sure.

For the record I deliberated on three trials. They love me.  :)
