Misrepresentation? Improper video being shown? Is that not a valid fear, especially when it can be very damning for either side?

I know close to nothing about how this stuff works, but if it was adding pixels or altering the image, why does pinch and zoom only work on higher resolution images? Surely the zoom only works as much as the resolution allows, which is why the lower the resolution, the more pixelated an image becomes when you zoom in.

The gun, in this image, is how many pixels? if 2 or 3 black pixel are moved, even by a pixel, especially on a dark background, it can show the gun pointing at a dif angle.
And that's why they so badly want to show it.

and AFAIK, pixels do get filled in. Some software is better at it than other.

Devices use algorithms regardless of zoom.
He's referring to enhancing the quality when zooming in after the fact, there's no way a phones doing that instantly in real time while a video is being played.

He actually mentioned that specifically before the break. He said "If I said that, shame on me". Also, when he said it previously, he said he could enter it but not as "unaltered" or implying that it was in it's original format.

The only claim that perhaps can be made is really about any footage (especially night footage) since nowadays algorithms are used to enhance the quality, can we really trust the footage.

Then they would have shown this evidence already. How could they possibly risk saving it until KR cross, when there is a strong likelihood the defense doesn't put him on the stand?
