Medical testimony is so outdated. Now we all just follow the science.
You don't want to follow that . That is when the ME compared both the video to the entry wounds. That is how he determined the gun was never grabbed when the first shot was fired.  ;)

Tomorrow should come the verdict?  Or only jury discussions?

Deliberations will probably start a few hours before the end of the work-day. Then it's up to the jury when we get a verdict.

I said before there are responsibilities with owning a weapon. The AR15 has tremendous stopping power. The one shot was enough and he could have retreated. He didn't and ending up shooting him in the back. I get it was a short period of time and IMHO he panicked which is understandable.

There is a reason they put him on the stand and didn't object to some of the lesser charges. They don't have the confidence that you have.
could you explain the amount of bullets on the belt parkway by NYPD Chase?

Your claim is that's once a bullet knocks out the threat you should stop shooting, but you don't see such behavior from law enforcement

Law enforcement operate under different rules. I didn't read the article. If they shot an unarmed man at close range with an AR15 let me know. I will then read it otherwise start another thread.

Judge at Kyle Rittenhouse trial dismisses gun charges: possession of a dangerous weapon.

This is an example of media disinformation. When the trial started, when I hadn't yet formed an opinion on his guilt or innocence, I saw the charges and saw the gun charge and thought, "Well, there's an open and shut gimme." I had heard for ages how he was illegally in possession of an assault weapon as a minor. IIRC, major news outlets even reported it as such, saying the case will be about the homicide charges, and the gun charge will obviously be guilty. Only once the trial started did I hear people who actually know about gun laws who were saying the exact opposite, the gun charge would be dismissed before going to a jury. They were spot on.

Wait, is the judge effectively cutting out the lesser includeds?

No. If some of the elements of the charged offence are missing, they should consider the lower charges. But if all the elements of the charged offence are there, then it boils down to self-defense. If it was in self-defense, they should declare him not-guilty and stop. If it was not in self-defense, they should declare him guilty and stop.

If closing statements finish after 3:30-4, the judge may decide to send them home for the day then and start deliberations tomorrow.
