I think he is doing a great job, for what it's worth. But he has to prove KR killed people without the legal right to self-defense, not that KR is an action junky who should not be running around riots with an AR15 (he is and shouldn't, IMHO)

He's going hard on the gun itself being enough of a provocation to nullify the self-defense. The success will depend heavily on the pre-trial attitudes of the jury.

Why didn't the defense object when it was said he was there with an illegal gun? That charge was dropped.

I wouldn't say no proof but weak proof. It is human nature to want to place blame.
