If I was the on the jury, and I saw the clearer video, I'd acquit on the spot due to self-defense. The other video is not as clear and I wouldn't be so sure.
Now, you might come to a different conclusion than me, but the fact that someone reasonable like me would change his/her mind based on the quality of the video, and the prosecution deliberately withheld this from the defense, is grounds for a mistrial with prejudice.
You might disagree that I'm reasonable, but someone like me would think I'm reasonable. And there are many people like me.
And you might think that the prosecution wasn't deliberate, but the judge already said that he doesn't believe the prosecutor is acting in good faith.
