Judge doesn't have to declare mistrial now. Good move on his part not to rule on motion to dismiss.

Not guilty!

As I had mentioned, I found it difficult to say that he was legally guilty of murder beyond a reasonable doubt. Even so, the kid is not a hero by any stretch of the imagination. Quite to the contrary. The kid is an absolute piece of trash and his own actions are what led him into this. I am sure the last few months with a life sentence over his head were quite difficult, to say the least, but he fully deserved it and much worse. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. I wish there was a way to penalize him to at least ensure the punk never gets his hand on a gun again to play these silly games. Unfortunately, there are plenty who will now place him on a pedestal.

MSNBC already moved on and not covering the verdict anymore.
The went from the verdict, to showcasing Jacob Blake's uncle on the air calling for protests all over the country, to covering stocks.

Because white people can get away with murder in this country.

Do you not think that the last year was punishment enough?

Do you generally think that being a stupid 17 year old is something that should be held against a person for the rest of their life (beyond the fact that he will be living with this)?

If you look at intent
Kyle is up
Joe is down

if you look at stupid
they're both on the same level

if you look at suffering well kyle is still alive and 2 others are not

The guy put himself into a situation where he needed to kill people who would be alive if not for his poor judgement. There are plenty of people who pay the price for their teenage stupidity for the rest of their lives.

The people he killed would also be alive if they didn't have poor judgement and put themselves in that situation of trying to kill him

That is also true. They paid for that poor judgment with their lives.

That is also true. They paid for that poor judgment with their lives.

They paid for their life because they attacked a guy with a gun.

And he pays for his (slightly less) poor judgment by the past year and living the rest of his life with the knowledge that he was involved with the death of 2 people.
