For an 18 year old, this kid is remarkably articulate, and a good interviewer.

+1. Maybe he should take over Tucker Carlson...

...and extremely poor judgement. Going on TC is just a continuation of that poor judgement.

Full disclosure: didn't watch it.

In many jurisdictions he can still face civil charges with a lower burden of proof

IIRC it is 51% in most cases which means he is toast.

This should have bipartisan agreement, the criminal justice system needs huge reform yesterday

You might note that civil suits have already been filed, yet despite most media stories putting his name in carefully worded headlines implying he is being sued, they are suing Kenosha officials and police, not Kyle Rittenhouse.

Do you have examples of these 'carefully worded headlines'?

It seems like the suits that have already been filed predate the Rittenhouse verdict. Most articles I've seen reference the fact that Rittenhouse can still be liable in a civil suit, which of course is true.

I edited my above post as even though I recall seeing a couple of such headlines, a quick Google search is only coming up with:
Denver Attorney Files Civil Action In Kyle Rittenhouse Shooting

That story was the same day as the verdict, but I can't tell if this suit was filed before the verdict or after.

That does not preclude them still being filed.

Original.

I know it was when they were his lawyers, I'm asking if that was their idea or if that was Kyle

That does not preclude them still being filed.

Of course not. I was just under the impression the case was just filed and thought it was noteworthy that KR wasn't being sued.

I would say theirs but KR could have said no.

Don't you think it's a bit much to expect from someone, especially a 17 y/o?
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.
