has anyone had success after Feb 1 with getting the vacation credit on their venture card??? pre-Feb 1 - they were giving them away like candy for anything vacation-related. I charged my card on Feb 1, 2022 and I received no credit at all. Any Data points here?? TIA!

Buy UA ETCs or B6 credit if you can't use it by the end of the year?

No Turkish Airlines flights showing up at all on capital one travel starting 3 days ago. Issue for redeeming $300 credit. Anyone notice this issue? Or otherwise, did anyone see dates/dest that it does show up? Reached out to them a few times they have now explanation. Plus, it does show up on Hopper which the site is based off of...

They claim 5 cards period, which sounds insane since no DDFr would get approved if that was the case.

Got a second denial in the last few weeks due to “too many revolving accounts”. The phone rep told me there’s a maximum of 5 cards from any issuer I can have open to get approved. Is this accurate? Any workaround?

Nonsense. Approved over 5/24 here.
But I haven't heard of many recon successes here.

back to my original questions is VRBO classified as a travel charge?

From my experience using a CSR, the booking fee charged by VRBO was categorized as travel. The majority of the charge, which is done by the property itself, came up as “professional services”. I’m assuming the same would be with Cap1

I am considering applying for Venture X and Spark Cash cards. Which one should I do first? Should I do them both the same day or wait in between? Do they still pull all 3 credit bureaus?

It's likely too late to get both, but doesn't hurt to try.

Here's my DP: approved for VentureX on 1/14; rejected for Spark Cash on 2/2 (due to recent VentureX application); approved for Spark Cash on 2/27

Consistent with other DP's I've heard about, the 2/2 application didn't even trigger a credit pull.

In that case probably apply for the spark cash before the venture x because the drop in sign up bonus is greater on that one.

Just keep in mind that there are scattered reports of capital One freezing peoples accounts if they cannot provide documentation to support the “business” listed on their spark app

My new spark plus account is currently "restricted" pending review of my business documentation. Though my spark miles and venture x cards remain open and unrestricted. Hopefully a tax return with schedule c will satisfy them.

I imagine you'll be fine since it sounds like you have legitimate supporting documentation
