I delayed confirming receipt of the card for several days. Maybe that flagged the fraud department?

thought the same - but we're hearing from others that it got restricted after use..

I also just got my capital one venture x restricted…..I did wait a few days to verify card receipt…first attempted purchase was for under 500 or so for a item being shipped to a different shipping address than my billing address….charge didn’t go through and didn’t think much of it. now a few days later I see account is restricted….any one know what to do ?

Call them. They will ask for some documents. Pretty smooth process.  Just a pain to have to do this after being approved.

I was an AU on the Card. Used the virtual card before i got the physical (About 1300 Total Charges) submitted verification docs. Got a call today that im being removed as a capital one Card holder. Is there any reconsideration line of some sort?

Anyone know when they will be rolling out the insurance on revenue tickets for last minute cancellations?

I applied for the Venture X and when I received it a couple of weeks ago and tried to activate it they told me there was a fraud concern and I needed to upload 3 months of bank statements. They also mentioned something about verifying income. The email that I received with the upload link stated that the requested documentation was for "proof of payment". I called back and they told me to just submit the bank statements.

I called back today to see what is happening, and not only did they shut down the new Venture X account, they also shut down my original Capital One Venture card which I had had for a couple of years without any problems at all.

One additional point: One of the three bank accounts that I submitted was under my wife's name (same last name), because I was including all household income when I applied for the Venture X and entered my income.

They would not give me any information over the phone about why my documentation was unsatisfactory. And now I have no Capital One cards. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I'm having trouble with a reservation that I booked with Turkish on a united flight, they reserved me a flight and I didn't pay for it yet. I'm trying to pay for it now and they are saying that the flight is not available anymore even though they gave me a reservation. They cant transfer me to a supervisor cuz they said it's not allowed. I checked on united and the flight is running. Any ideas?

I know they’ve been trying to compete with Chase and Amex, but when it comes to CS and reconsideration, they’re light years behind. I have excellent credit and was denied twice on myself and once on DW with no obvious reason or option to argue. I have a Cap1 bank account for years and a quicksilver/venture if that says anything.

Is there any bank that pulls your credit report from all 3 credit bureaus instantly approves  you for a whopping $20k only to shut you down a week later to go fishing?
