did anyone have luck getting any retaining promo or even letting you transfer credit to a dif card? I would like to cancel dont wanna pay this years fee but they told me theres no option of downgrading but dont wanna cancel a 10k line of credit dont think it would be good for my score.

I closed it no other good option if you dont want to pay the AF

Hi, i need help please. i booked a hotel using the capital one ventue x travel portal for a hotel which was at a much higher rate than the rate i found on booking.com. i used the capital one portal planning on price matching the price i found on booking.com however after i purchased the room on capital one the price instantly shot up $300 on booking.com and now capital one doesn't want to price match me as they dont see the original price. any suggestions?

Ymmv. There has to be a PC offer on the account. Also the PC has to be 60 days before the anniversary to get back the AF as opposed to 30 days if closing the account.

Is there a way to link the shipt membership from shipt.com to your target circle account? I used to have shipt from target so it was all together, now trying the free shipt two years and I see there is no way to get into my target account? Anyone have advice?

They are not always more expensive, I have found instances where they are cheaper. However, even when they are more expensive they will match any other price. After you book call them and tell them where you found a better price and they will refund the difference. I have done this multiple times without a problem. The benefit of booking through them is that you get 5 points per dollar and price drop protection. I actually got price match and price drop on one flight so I double dipped on the benefits.

I was denied for the Venture One card for "Based on your credit report from one or more of the agencies on the back of this letter, there
are too many active credit cards based on your loan history" - is there anything I can do to have this reconsidered?

I filed a theft protection claim and submitted all necessary documents (including police report) and cap one accepted my claim.

I'm not complaining but they paid me 2 times for the same claim number.

I would say they are a pretty incompetent bank - My experience between getting approved and within days going under a financial review - pulling lounge/restaurant credits mid AF year, giving themselves months to post vacation credits which never come through, having no option to downgrade a card unless you pay the AF. just read upthread peoples mindboggling issues...

Asurion handles their claims through claims benefits services - it's not captial one directly.
Are you saying they can take it back after a direct deposit to my account?
