I just had the same experience. That and the fact that you can add Hertz Gold # without paying Hertz.com prices is huge.

Is your rental completed?

No. Will I be hit with added fees?

I have a link to the business venture X that  gives as follows: "With our limited-time offer, you can earn up to 400K bonus miles: 150K miles when you spend $20,000 in the first 3 months and an additional 250K miles when you spend $250,000 in the first 6 months of account opening."
Even better than the one on DDMS.

No experience on my own but see the quote below. I have a rental through them scheduled for this weekend so I will report back.

Not sure but there pricing is definitely not reliable from what I’ve seen. Hidden fees/taxes and/or other miscalculations resulting in additional payment necessary at the location. I wouldn’t rely on what anyone sees there for rental cars, unless your confident/had experience otherwise when booking with them.
(I personally would never prepay for a rental car and it’s saved me always time money and headache for many reasons and situations, but that beyond the scope of this post. It deserves its own thread.)

That all depends on the CL they give and what spending they allow.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Huh? Even if you can pull it off it’s a bad SUB rate/%

The new offer on ddms is definitely better.

Is two  C1 applications same day 1 pull? What if its personal and biz?

Also I applied at 11:55 PM.... does that mean that it for sure will be a new pull?

My  prizes from CV :)

Not for sure hit or miss when within 24hrs but new calendar date IME I’d go for it
I think it’s worth noting here again that with cap1 you can lock experian (via unlimited 7day free trials on experian.com) and they will check only equifax and transunion. This is very helpful especially now after all those inks they will not see any of those pulls.

Can one transfer Cap1 points to an additional user’s FF account?

I've been noticing that when renting a car for 2.5 days Cap1 Travel is only charging for 2 while others are charging for 3. Is that always?

Now that this rental is complete, I'm happy to say that it was an extremely smooth process and I had zero added fees at all. It was great to have gotten the gold plus benefits too

I booked a car in November using an expiring $300 credit, prices are now half what they were when I booked.
Any way to get the lower rate without losing the credit?
Also, does a rental booked on the $300 credit have full insurance coverage?

Thanks in advance for taking time to respond

In regards to the coverage seems you are fully covered as you used your venture X card. Yes your bill was $0 on your card. But Capital one paid for it. See here..

If you do want to try and cancel. Try to get credit with the rental car company and then rebook and have left over credit if possible.. vs refund to cc which you'll lose out on.

The rebook wouldn't have insurance coverage though since it is no longer connected to the card.

If I plan on closing the card in March but still have points I want to keep alive does the following make sense to do?

Open the venture one card to get the 20k bonus vs product changing to it, and then keep my venture x open until I get the annual travel credit use it and then close the card?
Anyone?

Does C1 care about downgrading within a year? Necessary as they don’t really refund the AF after it’s billed unless you close the account.
