As the US implements new travel rules, allowing vaccinated travelers from Europe, I have a hunch that the US, Europe and the world at large will find out things that we in Crown Height (and other Jewish communities) already know.
Vaccinated (1, 2, or 3 doses) people do contract COVID-19.
I would imagine that most vaccinated people around the world don't regularly test for COVID-19, unless they really suspect that they are infected with it. But with travel requirements, there will be a lot more testing amongst the vaccinated, and as such, I expect an uptick in confirmed COVID-19 infections (that would otherwise go undetected, as people would simply not test for mild or no symptoms).
I think recoverees are less likely to get reinfected. And recoverees with a single dose of the vaccine even less. Will anybody be tracking? Does anyone care?
