What's the the best container for freezing your own food and reheating in the hot logic?
Fitpacker XL Meal Prep Containers https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZANBSE4

I use these. They're big so can fit a lot of food, but they fit in the hot logic.

ETA: looks like they're unavailable, but leaving here for sizing.

Garden using a hot logic on shabbos was discussed up thread but want to clear this.

What would be the basis of allowing to use this closed?

If a hot logic is open cover will it actually heat up food or at least keep the food hot if done, heated before shabbos?

I asked and was told that closing it would only be a problem if it was a very snug fit.

I guess you are using the large

Isn't the small always a close fit?

Close fit ≠ a snug fit on all 4 sides.

Just a couple of things that i experienced using the hot logic over summer vacation, a target freezer bag melted after like an hour or so

Not sure if its legit but pretty sure it says it shuts off after 12 hours but never happened. Pretty sure the paper it comes with says it shuts off after 24 hours.

But really works great and heats up well, also used the car adapter version and was very impressed

Used mine extensively over the summer. It doesn’t shut off at all, I tested it using a temperature logger and the temp stays incredibly stable indefinitely.
We also used it to make a cholent in an RV and it came out excellent.

What type of container did you make the cholent in?

New to the whole Hotlogic thing but finally trying one after Dan's strong recommendations for travel. Got the Max.
Can I put in 2 frozen Pom or Chinese meals in plastic containers in the morning and come back 10-12 hours later to a normal meal? Will it melt the container or dry out the food? Concerned about the maximum amount of time I can leave this heating up and not either burn down my hotel room or melt my container or dry out my food. Read past posts but need some reassurance...

Yes, it will be fine, though it may dry out a bit.

Can the MAX be used in the car if I get a 110/car plug converter outlet (seeing some on Amazon for around $15)? Anyone have experience with this?
