AA milage booking 3 days in advance
« on: December 30, 2011, 12:08:41 AM »
Is there a fee to book a AA miles reward ticket 3 days before the flight?

Is there a fee to book a BA miles reward ticket on AA 3 days before the flight?

I have no status.

Thanks.
(Sorry I cant search the forums now, im in a big rush to book. )

IIRC AA has a $75 fee, BA has no fee for this.

If the OP has both AA and BA miles, then (for domestic tickets) it makes much more sense to use BA miles.

I was talking to elizmm about you, you don't have to talk about yourself in third person :P

But seriously, if you're travelling domestic and there's SAAverpass availability (AA's cheaper tier), go with BA, otherwise AA is usually the way to go.
