seems not worth it, doesnt look like any better shape than CP, u wont get 4 beds like u do at CP (and that couch looks crappy), plus there is a pool/health club for use at CP, and there will probably be a sukkah u can use too. If you are renting a car it would be a no brainer to stay at cp. Most importantly, you already bought the IHG points, and its rare to get the value u would get from CP out of it so those may end up wasted.

Found this older post,  can someone or @shiframeir describe how you get four beds at the CP?

sorry, look back at the post, the option was 2 rooms at the cp or that small apt with one bed and a couch. 2 beds in each room at cp.

Are the crowne plazas in Eilat and  Jerusalem still going through renovations?  Have anyone been to either recently?

Jslem website says lobby opening today and construction continuing for few months. TripAdvisor reviews are pretty negative due to construction, would be good to hear from someone here.

I'm in the Crowne Plaza Eilat now. Lobby construction looks finished (lobby looks pretty good). My room is in the non-refurbished section of the hotel and my upgraded "suite" is worse than a Motel 6. So there is definitely more construction to be done. The hotel is supposedly 90% full so no chance for a room in the new section, even with Platinum Elite status. I'll let you know if I hear any construction during the day.

Anyone staying in the Citadel this Shabbos?

I need a meal and they're not taking outside guests.

The 2nd morning of our stay we heard some construction going on near our room at around 9am. The first morning was quiet until we left around 10:45.
