I'm hoping to get back to israel and trying to figure out kashrus and new hotel options. Can anyone update on whether Orient, inbal or citadel are under mehadrin hechshers for yamim tovim or otherwise? also there are other new hotels like the herbert samuel, brown, paamonim, and now dan panorama is renovated, are any of these options mehadrin and or recommended? and is prima royale a decent option for yom tov?

My experience is that the Orient is not mehadrin but often the Inbal and Citadel will be operating on a mehadrin level. The official hechsher will still be plain Rabbanut and there will be a specific level of mehadrin so you absolutely will need to speak to the mashgichim at the individual hotels for details. You will need to be familiar with the various shechitos and hechsherim to decide if it is sufficient for you.  The front desk of the hotels will connect you to the mashgiach if you call. I am not familiar with any of the other options you mentioned doing anything mehadrin.

+1 for the Inbal (also the best food of all the hotels IMO) but the Citadel is not mehadrin besides for the breakfast which is unbelievable.

 When I stayed in the Herbert Samuel it wasn't Mehadrin (Even though most of the breakfast was)

This is all very subjective about what you feel makes something Mehadrin

+1 for the Inbal (also the best food of all the hotels IMO)

my wife loves the inbal but we have conflicting reports on their level of kashrus (and their insta stories kind of turn me off with way too much bathingsuits/pool pictures on shabbos).
i got their mashgiach (Katriel)'s number and will call, but is there any independent confirmation on them operating at a higher level? there was a report in 2008 but that is a long time ago with a different mashgiach. http://www.jerusalemkoshernews.com/2008/03/jerusalem-hotels-%E2%80%93-inbal/

Depends on budget and if you want to use points.
Personally I like the Royal Beach and the West Side restaurant (which also has a few items available on the room service menu).

I think RB food is the best out there, but besides Hilton and Carlton I have eaten at any other hotels.

I think RB food is far superior, both for dinner and breakfast. At least that's my personal taste.

I think rooms are a bit bigger at the Hilton and you don't have a road in between the hotel and the beach.

I like RB location better but it's a question of preference

Ouch!

 Setai Hotel near Tiberias hit us for 500 shekels per child when they checked in. 

Israel Hotels are I guess notorious for this.  Don't remember ever having this issue in the USA
oh well ces't lavie.  Anybody have any success challenging these policies?

Ritz says they also charge for kids over 6, anyone know how much/any way to get around it?

where and how would be the most forceful way to file a complaint against the Setai. 

The pool had missing tiles which caused the children to bleed on the bottom their feet; also cigarette butts all over, fridge  did not work, lights did not work in the pool etc..

we have pictures of all this.

I booked through chase portal using UR points with the Chase preferred rate etc....
