Any thoughts on Waldorf vs Citadel? (If it matters Citadel would likely be junior suite with old city view, Waldorf would prob be regular room and if they upgrade great, but otherwise wouldn’t pay the extra price for a slighter bigger room/balcony that doesn’t really have any special view)
Any thoughts/feedback from people who’ve been at either property recently would be greatly appreciated!

Citadel will be much nicer room, everything else better at Waldorf.

I've heard about this for years, but haven't seen anything official about it in a while. But looks like there is a new points hotel coming to Yerushalaim! Welcome Jerusalem Intercontinental (now with a late 2025 opening date)

I am looking at hotels in Yerushalayim during August. Has anyone stayed at the Prima Vera? If yes, was it good?

Or are there better options at the same price (around 150/night)?

I never stayed there, but I did go check it out to see if I can eat a meal there, and it was very unimpressive. I can’t comment as to the rooms, but the lobby was very basic and apparently they don’t even make food on site but get it brought in.

I don’t know how much the price difference is for your dates, but I would check out the Prima Royale or the Prima Kings. I don’t imagine that they would be materially more expensive.

Hopefully by then everything will have calmed down and we will have been victorious and successful in this war.

Thanks for the reply, even in these weird and terrifying times.

The hotel popped out to me because the price would work, 800 a week, using Chase Travel (with it's targeted 100 off 600 promo), so it make sense. At this price point it is similar to other lower priced hotels.

Checking the pricing the prima royale would be 1061 or 900 after promos, within my budget but a bit out of the way from where I want to be. The prima king is a bit out of the budget.

Another option I saw was Lev Yerushalayim which was well priced at at 900 or 800 after promo, but non-refundable on chase at that price.

Sure, I'm going through a similar exercise now finding hotels for Sukkot.

If you don't have a specific reason to be in the Prima Vera area, I think that the Prima Royale location is generally considered to be nicer.

BTW, where did you get/see the $100 off $600 promo for Chase Travel?

Got it, I found it in my Chase offers on multiple chase cards including CSR and both of my Ink Preferred's.

I have the general idea of making two separate reservations at the same hotel for like 3/4 days each and thereby stacking these.
