Can anyone recommend some decent hotels not too expensive and preferably mehadrin in Jerusalem. For A Sunday- Wednesday stay. Close to the old city where my husbands aunt lives is better  if possible.
Also I see the Crowne plaza can be booked with sapphire points, is that close to the old City? And how is it?
Thanks in advance for your help!

FYI: Seems like Leonardo Plaza is the 5 star hotel in Jerusalem West in Hotwire that goes for ~$180/night.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

It is according to Hotwire ;)
Would be more like a 3.5 in the US, but you have to add 1.5 due to the exchange rate :)

Nowhere close, but considering Prima Kings is a 4 star it makes sense.

@Dan, is that a good price for Leonardo Plaza?  Seems like I can get it for $184 a night on Expedia.

Then don't take the chance at it not being the Leonardo on Hotwire. It's likely that for the dates Dan looked at it was a good deal.

Has anyone ever stayed at the Olive Tree?  I heard good things about it from Israelis, just wondering if it's too close to East Jerusalem.

Never stayed there but that's the knock on the place and a lot of people are hesitant to sty there for that reason.

Has anyone stayed here recently?

I heard pretty bad reports a few months ago from a friend.

Ie. Very dirty, not maintained since the SPG days.
