Does the tel aviv hi,ton have a shabbos elevator?  What type of food is available in the executive lounge on Friday night and Shabbos day?

They do have a Shabbos elevator, a shul on premises and have nice, dairy food out for breakfast and light dinner. They'll give you grape juice to make kiddish at breakfast too.  We didn't go Friday night to the lounge but every other night it was enough for dinner. We actually called before candle lighting and ordered room service for Friday night to have a nice meat meal with our family and not have to go to their expensive buffet.

My hilton diamond status expires in march and i will go back to gold.  I plan to go to the tel aviv hilton and the woldolf in Jerusalem.  Which should i do as a diamond and which can i wait and go after gold?  What will i miss out on each by being gold instead of diamond. Thank you

If you are only gold then at the Hilton you will only get access to the executive lounge if they upgrade you to a club level room whereas diamonds always get access.  At the WA you will get breakfast and an upgrade as either gold or diamond so I'd go to the Hilton as a Diamond and the WA as a gold although others might have a different view.

Has anyone checked into the waldolf jerusalem motzei shabbat?  Is it crazy with people checking out?
Do I have a better or worse chance of getting a good diamond upgrade on saturday night compared  to other nights since so many people are checking out when we would be checking in?

I'd put this question in the WA Jerusalem master thread and should get lots of good responses. I was there over Shabbos but since we weren't checking out then, I can't remember.

I'm looking to book a hotel in Israel, going BH from June 28 to July 10.
I am going with wife and kids, they are 5, 3 and 1 yr old.
We are looking to sleep the whole time in Tel aviv and take day trips.
What hotel do you recommend?
I have SPG points and Amex BP.
I would love to go somewhere with breakfast included, and somewhere fun with kids.
I was leaning towards Sheraton but they are being very strict with not having more than 3 ppl in a room, or Hilton bc we have some family going there so may be easier to figure out how to stay all in one room, but its very expensive
Please let me know your thoughts.

Are you Hilton Gold or Diamond?  The Hilton TA also won't technically allow 5 per room but they did upgrade me to a Studio room that fit a crib for my littlest and had a pullout couch.  You guys would fit there and they confirmed that upgrade for me ahead.  I'm going back the weekend before Pesach and can let you know if I get the same upgrade and it's pretty standard.
