Which hotels offer Shabbos meals for non-guests in Yerushalayim? (sorry if this was discussed already, didnt see it)
Bump. Anyone experience David Citadel and Waldorf to compare their Shabbos meals?

Have 3 nights booked at Wyndham TRYP for 2 (won't be at hotel much but would like a comfortable night's sleep since it's in beginning of trip when jetlagged), still thinking of a couple other options since TRYP doesn't have free breakfast anymore - either Lev Yerushalayim just for the 2 bedroom part of it (I know it's old and nothing luxurious but location and amount of room would be nice), or could spend a little more points wise (UR or possibly using AA Hotels/Miles since I have so many I just don't care) and staying at the Herbert Samuel. Other hotels I'd be interested in are just too high for me to justify. Thoughts? Don't see Herbert Samuel mentioned much, but it has an indoor pool, good location, looks nice. The Wyndham is an amazing value just because I value Wyndham points so low. Going to be with one child only. I feel stupid using 30k/miles or points per night at the Herbert Samuel when Wyndham is only 7.5 though. Herbert is still 1/2 of the nicer options like the David Citidel, Kind David, Waldorf, etc.

Planning a trip to EY in early December. Is the Leonardo Plaza the best (only?) option for a mehadrin hotel in Yerushalayim that's not Prima Palace?

Any suggestions for a hotel in Teveria, Tzfas area? Not as expensive like the Setai is.

Also, I'm leaving EY in the morning so I would like to head back to TLV area the night before. Are there any airport hotels there? It seems like the hotels are in TLV proper.

in tsfas i love the Ruth hotel (was rimonim but switched to dan recently), but u should check with the mashgiach as they used to be good and tell u what to have and what not to have, though dunno with change.

I'm not who you think I am.

Last few times I stayed at ruth rimonim it was really getting worse and worse. Rooms were in really bad condition

Did Dan renovate when they took it over?

looks the same from here, but i never felt they were in a bad condition from an Israel Hotel viewpoint (i.e. 5 star equal 3.5 star). we once had a bad room and they switched us quickly when we complained. https://www.danhotels.com/NorthHotels/RuthZefatHotel/Rooms

Thanks for the replies! In Tzfas/Teveria I don't care about the Hechsher because I'm not planning on eating in the hotel. I'm just looking for a nice hotel at a reasonable price.

there arent many "nice" hotels, but i find ruth to be the best imho and the prices were always reasonable with rimonim. Note that in tsfat there is a large industry of tzimmers/rentals and u can get a great nice place for cheap (with no food).

Thanks! Nicer than hotel? Chase travel has a lot of those tzimmers now, it seems. I like a nice mid-range place. Like the equivalent to a W. I don't need a St. Regus style hotel.

You can call the hotel and ask to speak to the Mashgiach.

I was given this idea by a friend of mine for a different Hotel in the Dea Sea area and that Mashgiach was very helpful. He showed me the Hechserim and shared which food had which Hecsher

Yes. Most mashgichim in hotels in Israel are very helpful about this.
