Do any of you have an understanding of how a Hotel has two levels of Kashrus based on the day of the week? I saw a hotel state that is has regular rabbanut during the week and Mehadrin on Shabbos? How does that work practically? Is it really a difference?

I would be doubtful of the mehadrin level, unless they have a separate hechsher for shbs.
I spoke to the mashgiach in the ritz herziliya about shbs mehadrin option and I definitely wouldn’t call it mehadrin.

If you scroll to the bottom of the Leonardo Boutique in Jerusalem it says that on weekdays they are kosher under supervision Rabbanut and on weekend “we are kosher Lemehadrin”. I just don’t see how that could make a practical difference. AS the before poster mentioned, they are using the same kitchen appliances and utensils.

During our recent stay in Israel we stayed for shabbos at Litov Kosel Hotel and found it to be an amazing experience. The hotel is located on the bottom floors of Yeshiva Porat Yosef which is the last building on the road going along the Old City wall. We were able to see the Kosel from our window. The rooms are small but clean and nice. Not luxurious and it is Israeli style with regular "balatas" and Israeli style furniture. The food is under Rav Rubin and are Israeli style shabbos seudos. We found it to be very tasty and enjoyed. The real attraction is the location to stay so close to the Kosel for shabbos. It was totally amazing.

The "Triple Room" was 1950 shekel exc VAT for 3 people including meals.

landing in TLV at midnight and would like to stay in a hotel with late checkout that night. would take a taxi from the airport unless they've moved the car rentals back on site by then. I'm a Marriott platinum Elite and that would be my preference, as would paying with points.

value for points is clearly ritz considering it’s $600+ price tag and good rep for service etc. but u could snag free night award nights at 35k sometimes at the publica so if u have those to liquidate it’s a nice move.
If u are focused on speed and/or luxury ritz has a crazy program for picking u up from the airplane door and whisking u through security without lines for an extra $190
