Inbal is not one of the fanciest hotels in Israel, or anything close to that.

+1
But I definitely still recommend it for the extra $50-60.

Inbal is suppose to be one of the fanciest or "best hotels" in Israel. I have never stayed there but heard amazing things. I have stayed in Dan Panoroma many times and it was ok, or basically I got what I paid for. Inbal has a special on groupon now...
http://www.groupon.co.il/deals/travel-iw/InbalHotel-C1301138549/16415710

Thanks for sending this groupon, its a better deal from what Ive been seeing. I dont have perfect hebrew, so I need to cut my teeth on the terms ha.

I understand that Inbal isnt up to the quality of Citadel, Mamilla or King David. Just weighing it vs Dan Pano.

I think that overall it comes pretty close to the Citadel, and beats Mamilla (ask anyone about that). Definitely higher class than the Dan Panorama IMO.

I'm going to israel for 10 days, and am planning on being north for a few days. I want to see some gallile and some Golan. should I look for accommodations in both places, or do I just take one place to stay and drive to my destinations? and while we're at it, what is the most recommended place to stay at?

Sorry! My bad!
Just me and my wife. no kids.
Makpid I don't know wht you mean by that
I can be in the north 3-4 days, so I want to make the most of it. fun and serene. everything
chain I don't care about, and I dont care to have food at the hotel, I could drive to someplace with food too.
Lavi sounds like a good option, but it looks a bit expensive.
teveria? well, that was my question. do I stay someplace in gallile and drive to golan for when I'll want to go someplace there, or do I find someplace in Golan to stay?
someone mentioned to me tzimmerin. anything about that?

Are you traveling in the summer or winter? There are tzimmerim all over northern Israel, and if your only going for 3-4 days I wouldn't recommend that you change places as things aren't that far from each other. You could stay in a tzimmer in Tzfat if you prefer to be in a city or you could find some remote tzimmer in the Golan, there's isn't one size fits all.

Im planning on going to israel for a week. I have points with SPG/Amex MR/Chase Ultimate Rewards. Is there any nice(er) hotels in yerushalayim, that are relatively close to the frum neighborhoods that  I can use those points for?

Thanks
