Just stayed at the Isrotel Princess Eilat for three nights, and had a fantastic experience. The staff were extremely pleasant, generous and helpful. They paid for a taxi from the airport since we missed the last bus, sent items up to our room whenever we requested, the view is the best in Eilat (and right near scuba diving) and the breakfast was awesome.

If you're going to Eilat, I would recommend this hotel.

It's not really in a neighborhood. It's just over from Shaarei Chesed/Rechavya. It's about 20 minutes walking from Geula/Meah Shearim. There are buses running right in front to most areas. 20/25 minutes walking to Kosel. It really depends what you want to be close to and what your alternatives are

Yes, Grand Court is somewhat close to the kotel, although that's assuming you walk through sha'ar shchem.
And it's just across the street to the entrance to the Meah Shearim area.

Might be worth noting that some people arent comfortable walking through sha'ar shechem.

People are very happy with the Leonardo Plaza and it's a very popular choice for the Frum clientele. As far as being close, it's not close but it's close enough, especially for mid-week.

Rimonim Mineral Tiberias is nice, under 100usd a night and it comes with full access to Tiberias Hot Springs Spa across the street, which has a heated outdoor pool open all year. The hotel is a 5 min drive from the boardwalk.
