Just a pointer; if you have an obi device for your home phone, you should set this up on a different Google voice number, otherwise you won't be able to call home.

Even with it set on "No" you can hit the star during the greeting to login.

It wasn't working before, but I think it's because I couldn't set up voicemail with a pin, until I had legacy settings.

ETA: You can't use a pin if it's set up with an obi with  the phone's voicemail

Just tried that, It rings and then goes to google voice voicemail. @aygart

Create a pin online then press star when you hear the voicemail message, then follow the prompts.
