Document that shows' that a wig is not considered consumable OR perishable

Amex denied my Baggage Insurance Plan claim on a wig because not covered its consumable and perishable items..." they will only reverse there decision if i provide a document that its not,

Does any one have such a document?   or any other ideas

Do you have an invoice from the sheitial macher with a description on it? Maybe a letter from them would help.

A quick look shows that the BLS categorizes wigs similar to shampoo and haircuts so you might have an uphill battle on this one.

not really- huca is basically find another rep who will give a different result from the same scenario. Obviously if he gets documentation that supports his claim it doesn’t matter who answers the call

I've had success reframing the current information.
tip:  talk before they do a big look up of the notes.  Summary of the problem. Say what you want.  Why your request is justified.  Then they go to the notes and either shoot you down or go talk to a supervisor.
