How to Sell/Trade Silver Judaica?

I have 2 small-ish silver menorahs that I received many years ago as bar mitzvah presents. I'd love to find somewhere to essentially trade them in for a single menorah that's taller and perhaps holds larger oil cups. I was told 925 Sterling in the 5T will basically just weigh everything and pay based on the current price of silver. Has anyone hear done this before and have any insight as to whether there might be other places to get better value, either by getting value for the pieces as they are (instead of just rate), or maybe others paying a higher rate by weight? Willing to go to Brooklyn and maybe the city, but not beyond.

If the menorahs are in good condition and aren’t outright fugly, I would imagine you could list them locally and find someone who’ll buy them for more than the value of the silver.

The retail markup of silver value to a finished item is probably 50-100% so someone looking to buy would be getting a steep discount (20-40%) and you’d still end up ahead.

ETA: also consider that the “one larger menorah” you have your eyes on might retail for more than the retail value of the two small menorahs you have.

Lol, I went to search about silver and the first result was my own post from 2 years ago. Still in the exact same spot, and hoping to get something done before chanukah.

It sounds like the only way to get decent value out of this is to sell privately, which I can probably do independently from buying a new one. And worst case if I'm not finding buyers I can also sell it to a store by weight.

Any suggestions on where to go for good prices on a new one? Hazorfim seems to have some nice 'sales' right now, but I have no idea if their 'retail' prices are inflated relative to other places.

#1 is missing it's silver shamash holder. Don't have an asking price yet since I haven't gotten a scrap quote in store (tomorrow bl"n).

If you're actually in CO, might be hard to get it to you before chanuka. I'm in Queens and don't think I want to be shipping these.

Added pics after polishing (to the best of my not very good polishing ability) and the 925 stamp for each. The first one says Hadad on the stamp. I also found the shamash for that one, but the stud that holds it onto the body of the menora broke off - might be fixable but never looked into that.
