Marries Segment *A
« on: December 09, 2022, 11:10:33 AM »
I want to remove  a 1st leg from a *A married segment itinerary.
Any programs allow this?

Sample: I want to book LIS-TLV while only JFK-LIS-TLV is available, what program can i book this and have the JFK-LIS segment removed?
Always praying for delayed baggage.

dont you always have to take the first leg as most fares are based on origin city

Try at your own risk:

1- book the full tickets
2- create a craigslist post seeking a daring person in city A who would travel to city B for a few bucks.
3- UPS your license to that person
4- have that person impersonate you and fly the first leg
5- meet that person in the airport and get back your license before flying the second leg.
6- keep the phone number to Aleph Institute in your speed dials

He's not referring to that at all.

Quote -Married segments allow airlines to control inventory, by combining two or more segments in the sell request and processing them as one unit. Which is similar to the point I made that its limited to certain reasons and must be taken

No. He's talking about having the booking party break up the married segment and only book him on the one he needs to go.
