Oops! Missed it.
BTW someone pointed out to me that it does not have a kosher certification, anyone knows anything what the major kashrus organizations say about unflavored coffee?

Seems like getting OU certified box is YMMV. Some DDMS commentators saying they received without certification on box.

Regardless, as Dan mentioned, the cRc says these don't require the hechsher because it's plain coffee.

Same reason some water has a hechsher. They do a cost benefit analysis on whether it's worth putting a meaningless hechsher on the product.

I would guess the most likely reason is that they changed their private label source and the new one does not have a hechsher on the plant.
