Sounds like the issue is with the document you're trying to copy from. I think the best way to do this is to OCR the original document.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

What do you mean it comes out messed up?

What happens when you paste into notepad?

OCR is a premium feature in a PDF editor like Adobe, it recognizes letters and virtually overlays them on the document, allowing you to search or copy from a document that is scanned.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Paste it here: https://www.lexilogos.com/keyboard/hebrew.htm

and then copy it from there and paste it into word.

I do this all the time, a true lifesaver.
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

I didn't look too much for an appropriate thread.

I'm trying to paste Hebrew text in Gmail. I can't for the life of mine figure out how to delete something from the beginning of the line.

Left is right right is left backspace deletes the end  >:(

Any help here

Try selecting the text and pressing the Ctrl+Shift on the right side of the keyboard to switch the direction to RTL.

Using the home and end button to get to the beginning and end of the line can sometimes help

FTFY?

Alt-shift changes the keyboard language. ctrl-shift changes the language of the paragraph (and alignment).
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!
