ye -- I forgot about this one. Will need to read on a fast day or something. But as of 12/31/2016, he's still waiting the results of his CT scan and health clearance to fly again. Hope that he gets clearance soon. He gets disability payments in the meantime -- probably decent living considering his wages.

K. My apologies -- it's not the main thrust ( 8) ) of the story. I read the first 20 pages 2 yrs ago, and read the last 5 pages now. Makes you feel like you're in the air.
Will need to bookmark it and maybe read it in a few weeks, late on a snowy Motzei Shabbos with a hot drink.

Amen to that. I'm permanently leaving the tab open and will catch a few pages every time I sit down

W0X0F's writing is excellent. Clear and easy to understand. I'm nearly a quarter way through the thread.

In case anyone is still reading the thread and is just interested in W0X0F's replies, copy the code below and create a new bookmark with the code as the url. Then once the page loads click your bookmark and it will remove all the replies except for the ones by W0X0F. :)

Code: [Select]
javascript:$('#posts .page').each(function() { if ($(this).find('.bigusername').text() != 'W0X0F') { $(this).remove(); } });
Awesome!! (Even moreso if I could get it to work   ???   )

Please tell me what I am doing wrong.

First attempt:  I copied code above, brought up the 302 page thread, pasted the code in the URL at the top of the page, bookmarked it, went to the bookmark (with thread still opened), clicked (but the bookmark was the URL of the original page!) and the original page remained.

Second attempt:  I brought up the 302 page thread, pressed the star to bookmark that thread, pasted the code in the URL in the bookmark box, bookmarked it, went to the new bookmark (with original thread still opened), clicked (the bookmark was now the new code) and the original page remained.

This is an addictive (you've been warned!) must read for anyone interested in the inside, behind the scenes info of a pilot's trials, tribulations, and thought processes in flying planes.

Right click on your bookmark toolbar and add the whole code as the URL, then when you're on the actual thread clicking on the bookmark should remove all of the irrelevant posts. It shouldn't do anything when you're on another page, if it does then something's wrong
