We don’t confirm that many cases. Omicron is 13% of sequenced cases in NYC area as of last week, and 3% in some other states, averaging 9% or higher. It’s certainly more than just a few.

I had just had “it” (and it was bad! Fever did not go down for 24 hr even after taking a whole bunch of fever reducers I actually called hatzolah but the lmk they did not have an available chovesh so I was welcome to call mada!only in Israel!)
The only way it came up was on a blood test (my cpr was 32) but the doctor did give antibiotics which definitely helped me!

My son told me that a large percentage of the boys in his yeshiva weren't feeling well and went home. He came home two nights ago and went to the doctor yesterday, but then decided to go back to Yeshiva, as he was simply too bored at home (DW is away and I'm busy at work).

Hits particularly hard after Chanukah is over and Purim fun is far in the distance. Shovevim (Tat!!) retzifos program posters being hanged already doesn't help either. Take the Bocherim to a mid winter shabbaton.

Seems like I got hit by it... So far tested negative for strep on the rapid. Got hit by this worse than I got hit by Covid, but hope that it goes away faster, and doesn't leave any symptoms behind...
