Repair LG VN220 Exalt flip phone

Hi! My teenage daughter's phone is busted - the upper half (screen) totally broke off.

I want to use LG Bridge software to backup all contacts and photos from the phone to my PC. When I plug in the USB into my computer, I then have to tap the notification to allow USB connection. But the screen is not working so I don't know what to press.

Can anyone tell me the exact keys to press on the keyboard to acknowledge this notification and allow connection to LG Bridge?

I would recommend getting another one and doing them both side by side.

I can help you. I do this all the time. takes a bit of trial and error. Once plugged in, press

Center
Down
Center
Scroll down and after each scroll press the Left soft key to dismiss any possible notifications
End,
repeat steps 1-3 to get back to notifications.
scroll down once, (you should be on USB mode now IF usb debugging is not enabled)
Enter
Down
Enter (this should be USB Transfer mode)

but is harder to set up without a screen ... catch 22.

What I was suggesting was a simple phone mirroring available on some phones, no adb required.

These phones dont have that possibility, it requires installing an app which, on this phone isnt that straightforward

Press down and then Left soft key in case there is a notification like a new message or missed alarm, etc. do this a bunch of times to clear them all.

  It Cracked by the hinge? Meaning the ribbon cable is what snapped?

If you don't want to repair it, I can lend you a new Screen and or Ribbon cable if you want to be able to take off the contacts and pictures from the device.

 Though if you want it repaired, it would probably cost you $60 for the hinge and another $15-$20 for the ribbon cable.
 Assuming the actual screen is still intact on the LG exalt VN220? And just the top half is separated?

    Either reach out to me via PM or text this guy to have it repaired.

yes, the screen is intact, just the cable severed. I'm on vacation this week, will reach out if I want to purse this, next week. We live in Monsey. Thank you, @myi

If you know how to attach a new cable I can give you  one. I can mail you one. Or if you like, mail the whole phone or find someone to bring to Brooklyn/Lakewood.
 Or find a guy in Monsey to repair it.

 A DP for all those who have their contacts on a flip phone. Should you want your contacts backed up in case your device breaks.
  I would export all to an SD card or move that vCard file onto a computer and then import them onto your Google account. You can even merge all your contacts once they're on your Google account, should you have doubles of your contacts.

I don't know price since it's not firsthand info (friend had it done there, think the price was reasonable).

We got it up and running for him.
 Lesson learnt, takes a second to back up all your contacts. As well Verizon is stopping message plus on many devices so export or share all your contacts via a text message on a smart phone. Log on to Gmail in incognito browser,  then go to contacts in the Gmail section of the app, and click import. Now make sure you saved the vCard file on your phone, name it whatever you like. And now from your browser click import and select that file and your done.
