They ship from store in about 5% of cases. Amazon uses TBA a lot more then that.

IME they shipped 11 orders from store out of 118, that's about 10% of orders.

Certain items they never ship from store. Depends on the item.

IIRC there are a few services that do this, dont recall off the top of my head. THey convert the TBA to something else trackable

Not really, before you order it.
