What is that supposed to mean? And it's crazy that the whole world can just watch the noose tightening around Ukraine's neck and does nothing about it.

Let's see the link, so we can actually see what that graph is supposed to mean. Even if you expand it to include total energy consumption (ie electricity, heating, transportation, etc) I still find 20+% very hard to believe. Seems like Russia is not even the leading source of France's imports of NG (Norway) or LNG (Algeria). Even with oil, where they are the top source, it's less than 15% of the total. It's tightening around Europe's neck, not Ukraine's neck IMHO. All Putin wants is no NATO at his borders. He's not interested in a military conflict with Ukraine (or with anyone else for that matter), but he will flex his muscles so that the self-righteous phony western Europeans (and US) climb town from the tree and give up on Ukraine joining NATO.

It seems like you're proving my point. You can't get to 20+% if your share of any given energy source is less than 20%.

Lol, I didn't mean a literal link to the image. I meant a link with the sources for the graph. I'm obviously not arguing the overall point (European energy dependence on Russia), but posting a standalone graph with no sources is pretty useless.

It's all but certain Russia & Ukraine will be caught up in a bloody guerrilla war for years to come. The only thing that's more certain is that Ukraine will cease to exist as an independent, democratic country.
