I can tell you that my son has been to the Ukraine a few times, and spent time in cities and towns other than Kiyv. Stepan Bandera is definitely idolized there!

About the fact that NATO pledged not to expand eastward several times and broke those pledges repeatedly? (Is there even a real purpose in NATO nowadays? Why was it established in the first place?)

Just imagine that the Republic of Texas would break away from the USA and then join some Chinese defense alliance?

There never was any agreement as he claims not to expand NATO. The agreement talked about Germany. Including other countries was never discussed at that time.

Now if you want to talk in glowing terms about this murdering thug you do a disservice to this country and the rest of the free world.
