Strange Flashing on Laptop Screen

Whenever I turn on my computer, it flashes strange colors for about ten minutes or so not allowing me to see the screen & do any work.
I'm attaching two pictures.
Any idea of what the issue is and what can be done to fix this?

Not sure how helpful this is but these pictures remind me of a YouTube video of some guy testing out really strong magnets near computer screens and seeing what happens. The screens looked similar to yours

Yes, give or take a minute or two.....until the computer comes back out of sleep or the screen gets moved, then the flashing starts again.

Seems to me that you need to replace the screen. I had it once with my Dell laptop. There are some cheap screen stores online and it was easy to replace myself.

Yes. Then it's likely not the GPU overheating, and the cable is ripped or loose. You can also try updating drivers to rule out any bugs related to coming out of sleep.

Have you found anyone online with a similar problem? To me it sounds like either a driver issue, or perhaps hardware. Does shaking / banging lightly have any effect on the screen?

The fact that the issue recurs when the laptop is moved kinda rules out software, no?

That's why I'm leaning towards replacing the screen connector cable.

Not in this case.
I found videos that show how to completely disassemble this entire model but no videos showing how to get to & possibly replace the screen cable connector only.
I'd rather not to do any unnecessary steps.

Search for screen repair, it should be more or less the same steps. There is two ends to the cord the easy one to check (IINM) is by opening the back of the laptop. But in IME it's the end by the screen that usually gets disconnected (I've seen it only by Dell laptops btw) and that usually requires disassembling the screen face.

This wont give you videos but it will give you step by step instructions.
