I think a distinction can be made between funeral attendance and a gravestone. People chose to attend the funeral, and the size of the crowd implied that the community thought he deserved that honor, vs. what the family chose to write on his tombstone, which is a different discussion.

Yup they just want to gossip. If they care, they should keep it quiet so the victims wont see it and get hurt.
