  If I remember correctly I think I bought one from Fox on Amazon, or something like that and then I bought a Bluetooth one for $20 from FIXD, I love that one.

Will work just fine. Though a Bluetooth device like bluedriver, or fixd is user friendly and can explain what each faulty code is and attempted repair ideas.
