I share an internet connection with my landlord, I have an ethernet cable running direct from the router. The network security is basically nonexistent but since the router is not mine there isn't much I can do. If I connect the ethernet cable to a different router and build a network off that router, will I be fully protected behind that router? Or will my landlord's non-secure network still be a danger for me?
