What are your needs? Budget? Using for music or for calls?

Been using a ~$20 too for the past year or two. I also recently got the first gen airpods so I have something to compare it to. They are both very similar sounding in terms of quality. Battery life on mine is also very good also.

One thing you shouldn't do is get the $5-$10 dollar ones those are noticeably bad sounding.

The one I have is halfears model t15 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0881NKVGF/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_7BBDXP3WM0Q3PEFM8QD1

I have airpods pro, TaoTronics SoundLiberty 53 and Anker SoundCore Life P2.

Of the 2 cheaper ones, I much prefer the TaoTronics. They're a but bulkier (stick of the ear a tiny bit) but I prefer the audio quality, microphone quality, look/feel, and the touch buttons work nicely. Aside from finding the Ankers' sound and mic quality to be inferior I also found that if you want to press the button on the earbud you have to press really hard, effectively jamming the thing uncomfortable into your ear.

Slightly off topic, but anyone have recommendations for a comfortable set of Bluetooth Headphones with mic? Budget is ~$50 (unless I have to pay more to get something functional). Don’t need noise cancellations for the headphones part, but would be good if the mic could drown out background noise.

These perhaps? https://www.harmanaudio.com/akg/AKGY500BTBLK.html

Anyone have a recommendation for earbuds which have a good mic for phone calls? Seems to be low on the priority list for most manufacturers

Regular airpods? I imagine they'd be decent due to their stem.

I've heard people complain they aren't that reliable when used with android.

Either way, would prefer something with USB c

Depends what you are looking for aside from that.
I've had very good experiences with the soundcore life p2s and now p3s for phone calls
