There are multiple options for prefab’d offices you could buy that are built out of surplus/retired shipping containers. You buy/lease the “office” and delivery of it, they drop it where you designate, and you’re responsible for regulatory compliance. All you need to do is hook up electricity (and plumbing if needed) and furnish it and you’re ready to go.There are also endless “tiny-house” type AirBnBs that are somewhat similar to this concept. e.g. this, only this is on a larger scale
What are you trying to say?
That reusing shipping containers for residential/office use is a "thing". It has some gimmicky kitch-appeal and is cheap but IMHO somewhat impractical.
OK. We know that. Here the Eilat municipality is trying to create a low cost hotel option on the grounds of the old Eilat Airport Z"L. They want nightly rates to be capped, hence the idea of using shipping containers.
So like hostel pricing to get more people to visit Eilat? How far is this old airport form the city/beaches?
Can you spot the abandoned runway?
