Any recommendations for local wine stores that ship to Illinois? The major online kosher sites (koshewine.com and onlinekosherwine.com) are out of the wine that I want to use for the seder.

Malbec is a favorite varietal of mine, but limited options so was really happy to try this french Malbec which is new to the US market:

Its under Kedassia (UK) & Badatz eida chariedis incl. Kosher for Passover so great option for the seder.

I have to say it might be my new favorite, very smooth & Nonacidic (unlike most cabernets) and priced well; retails for around $30

Can I get a few recommendations for seder wine?
I’m looking for non mevushal Semi dry French wines (slowly whittling down my options here :) )

For Reference I just tried semi sweet ohr haganuz har hermon (mix of cv, Merlot, Shiraz) it was SUPER heavy in my opinion ! (15%(!) Israeli wine not super surprised as Israeli wine is heavier)

And tried Vintner semi dry cv 11.5% which was a pretty cheap bottle but was much easier on the stomach! So now looking to see if there’s something even lighter in the French wines
nothings impossible- the word itself says Im possible

Also, from my observations, what the US wines consider to be semi-sweet are usually considered sweet in Israeli wines, and the same is true up the spectrum - semi-dry-US = semi-sweet-IL, and some IL semi-dries are simply lighter dry wines in the US. But that was just my experience.

This year Purim, the star of my seudah was a Chateau Haut-Philippon. (Hechsher- Kedassia.) I also had a few cheaper ones, but this was the best. Bought it around Sukkos so I don't know how much it cost (probably around 100-140 shekel, as that is what I spend on the really good ones).

Is this available in the US?

Ironically, not available in IL this year. FYI this is very smooth and drinkable but is dry, not semi.
