It's a word that felt real. If you asked me before the puzzle if it was real and what it meant, I'd be 50/50 on the former, but give you the right definition, if that makes sense.

I think both your client (computer/phone accessing Wordle) and the webserver hosting Wordle would have to be on Windows to use a date before 1/1/1970. Wordle is hosted on Cloudflare which is likely Unix-based
