The more you know! She had no idea she was making a pun, though she was extremely chuffed when I told her. In general, she HATES my puns and loves making her own. I can't say I've never avoided making the pun myself and then aided and abetted her in making it, abi she's having fun. I would hate to stress her out to the point she starts writing Dear Abbey letters.

Should be pretty often, if you do the NYT Mini enough times. Or walk along NYC coastlines.

I would guess as a final answer because it seems like a common word to me. But now I'm trying to think whether I've ever seen it used outside of a crossword puzzle. $:-\$
