Topic Wiki

This thread is to discuss whether people feel that something is unethical, not to find out what the law*/T&C says.

Any Halachic questions should be posted here.

*According to CountValentine this includes religion, but unfortunately for him, the general consensus is that religion will always be entwined in this thread.

*Hint* If you have to ask, It's most likely not ethical.

Selling the 200/100 for $15 is the unethical part not what you are doing.

I bought 2 of the same item from a store and 110% price matched it from another store.
I paid $163.00 each when the normal price is $229.00.
I only need 1 in the end. Would it be unethical to return one to the store without the receipt so i get $229 store credit?

???
I am, hoping that Venilla thought the question was "Is it ethical" and not "is it unethical"

I am not even sure why someone would think it is ethical.

Yep, I misread it😳
I don't understand how that's even a question, it's for sure not ethical.

If I bought a ticket to take the Long Island Rail Road and the conductor didn't come around and punch it because the train was too full is it ethical to use it again?

Not sure how you could suspect that, after her story with the guy blocking her driveway.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Not exactly the same but - Is it ethical to reuse Hertz free day coupons that aren't collected at the end of a rental?
