Topic Wiki

This thread is to discuss whether people feel that something is unethical, not to find out what the law*/T&C says.

Any Halachic questions should be posted here.

*According to CountValentine this includes religion, but unfortunately for him, the general consensus is that religion will always be entwined in this thread.

*Hint* If you have to ask, It's most likely not ethical.

Probably they don't necessarily feel that the hours would ever be made up. And they could still uncomfortable with it.

You ask a rav when you want a psak. You post on DDF when you want to start a discussion. Two totally different things.
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

Using Honeywell code to save on a car rental?
Don't ask stupid questions and you won't get stupid answers

Do the T&C's say you need to be a Honeywell employee to use it? If so and you are not then it is unethical.
"LESS IS MORE" It is the cumulative effect that kills deals!!! How many times do I have to say this?  >:(

Trying to smoke out JTZ here.

Ethical to do multiple staples VGC rebates with different households if in practicality its all one person? Rebate says one per household but cashiers and managers do not care when you ask them to split for the rebate.

Ethical.
You did your brother a favor by picking up VGCs for him.  You paid with your credit card. Eventually he gifts the whole thing back to you.

That has nothing to do with whether the actual scenario is ethical. You're just constructing an ethical hypothetical that's functionally equivalent.

I bought 2 of the exact same Apple products from 2 different places. After a few days I realized one wasn't working properly. Can I return it to either store since I don't know which one I bought from where?

Not necessarily, but it would be a good way to identify where you got which.
