AIRBNB / VRBO - Shabbos & Cancel Policy
« on: January 04, 2022, 01:11:58 PM »
Hello!! Have a few questions about airbnb / vrbo stays in today's world

1) What is the best credit card to book - are there any that will cover cancel policy?  or what would be best insurance with today's covid world
2) Know most today are keyless/smart locks. How does one go about this shabbos? In a hotel you can get someone to open for you, but not a private home!!!
3) any other tips for a 1st time airbnb user.

THANKS!

Every Airbnb rental has its own set of rules and such. I always book AIRBNBs that have free cancellation 48-72 hours before the trip starts. Some offer only 50% back etc. Make sure you read the details on their listings because every listing is different. Also for peace of mind I only book listings with very good reviews 4.9+ and with a high quantity. Some minor issues I’ve had like Wifi troubleshooting and misplacing the key the hosts helped me out quickly. But do your research the area its in etc. What some people may love you might not. I’ve never ran into major problems thankfully.
