Unaccompanied minor question for SWA
« on: July 09, 2023, 01:12:26 PM »
Can my 17-year-old and 14-year-olds be the chaperone for my 5-year-olds on a SWA flight? They would all fly together, but without parents. Is this doable without paying an unaccompanied minor fee?

My two older kids have flown on their own several times without issue.

Check the fine print on SW defining unaccompanied minor.  That will likely tell you the required adult age.

I did it for you.  They can.

"Children ages five through 11 traveling without an accompanying Passenger age 12 or older must travel as Unaccompanied Minors (UMs) on Southwest Airlines."
